Rothbard Day

If your organization decides to become co-partner in this event, it should make a financial contribution (the amount of your choice). This donation will support the award. You will also receive one vote in the jury – just like any other partner.

Rules for entry
The International Artwork Contest Rothbard Day 2012 is open to all categories and types of visual material that emphasize the contribution of Murray Rothbard to the development of personal and economic liberties. We expect participants to submit video materials (ex: movies, cartoons), games, illustrations, drawings, pictures, and other types of art like paintings or sculptures.
Submitted artwork must be your original creation, and all the materials should be copyright free.
The Contest is open to individuals or teams of people, including to institutional entries.
Each participant can only submit one artwork.
As participant in this contest, you agree that organizing partners may publicize your name, and freely use your work, provided that proper acknowledge of its author(s) is made.

Judges
Submissions will be assessed by a jury formed by representatives of all organizing partners. Each partner will receive one vote in the jury. Interested organizations may become partners in this event by sponsoring this contest (the amount of your choice).
The jury members will be required to rank their preferences. Then their choices will be add up and a final scale will result. The Rothbard Day 2012 winner will be the candidate situated on the first position in the final hierarchy. In case two or more applicants occupy the same (first) position because they receive an equal number of votes, then another round of prioritization will follow, until a single winner is established.

Award
The jury will award a single prize. The amount of this prize will increase with the number and contributions of organizing partners. The current prize is $1200.

Deadlines
All submissions should be sent before February 15, 2012.
The winning artwork will be announced on February 25, 2012.

Miscellaneous
